GTA 6 Radio Stations: DJs, Songs, Podcasts & Soundtrack
Browse GTA 6 radio stations, DJs, 18 preview songs, nine album singles, podcasts, and Justice’s newly revealed original score.
Grand Theft Auto VI is bringing back one of the series' defining features: a radio dial that gives its open world a personality of its own. Rockstar has opened playable previews of six stations, spanning Latin music, country, African music, metal, pop, and Southern hip-hop. Its new audio system also lets Jason and Lucia listen beyond their cars, using headphones or earbuds connected to their smartphones.
But there is more to explore than a list of station names. The six previews contain 18 identifiable songs, the DJs have distinct on-air identities, and Rockstar is releasing a separate 34-track album alongside the game. Justice is composing the original score, and the October 15 launch trailer introduced the ninth available album single, “Flower in a Hurricane.” This guide connects those details so you can find the music you like, see which artists are associated with each station, and avoid mixing up radio tracks with album singles.
For the original playable samples, visit Rockstar's GTA VI Music page. The six stations below are the ones Rockstar had previewed as of October 18, 2026. Rockstar has described a broader selection of radio formats, including classic rock and talk radio.

October 15 music update: Justice scores GTA 6
The October 15 launch trailer brought more than a new video. In its official announcement, Rockstar named French electronic duo Justice as the composers of Grand Theft Auto VI’s original score. The trailer also debuted their standalone single “Flower in a Hurricane,” featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
The song is now playable on Rockstar’s music page as part of the GTA VI: The Album preview. This makes nine available album singles, up from eight when this guide was first published. Rockstar has also said it will share more information about the official score album.
Why this matters for listeners: Flower in a Hurricane is a trailer song and an album single; it is not part of the 18 songs identified in the six station previews. And Justice composing the score tells us who is responsible for the original game music, not which licensed records will play on a particular in-game station. You can listen to the track via Rockstar, or watch it accompany the launch trailer.
Find your GTA 6 radio station by music taste
Want a quick answer before digging into track lists? This is our listening guide to the station previews, based on their music and presenters.
| If you're looking for… | Start with | Why it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Contemporary Latin hits, reggaeton and bachata | Cocoteo FM | Moves between club-oriented Latin rhythms and romantic bachata |
| Older country, outlaw storytelling and rural radio personalities | Back Country Radio | Classic country selections and character-led broadcasts |
| Amapiano, African dance music and discoveries from different decades | AfroBank FM | Mixes recent dance sounds with older African recordings |
| Heavy guitar riffs and classic metal | The Chamber 106.6 | Black Sabbath, Pantera and Slayer appear in the sampler |
| Pop, electronic crossovers and Vice City nostalgia | Flash FM | A returning station name with a modern pop direction |
| Southern hip-hop and Miami rap history | Dirty South Classics | Built around recognizable regional rap records and hosts |
A useful way to start: Listen to Flash FM if you remember the original GTA: Vice City. Try AfroBank FM or Cocoteo FM if you want to hear styles less central to the original game's famous 1980s soundtrack. For an instantly recognizable guitar-driven sampler, pick The Chamber.
Every GTA 6 radio station and DJ revealed so far
The names spoken on air are not always the same as the real-world performers recording the voices. This is especially useful when searching for a DJ in-game or trying to identify a celebrity voice.
| Station | Music | On-air presenters | Performers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cocoteo FM | Modern Latin; reggaeton, bachata, merengue, dembow | El Martillo and La Gata | Bad Bunny and RaiNao |
| Back Country Radio | Renegade and classic country | MW and Delta Dawne; appearances by Mud Dog Mike | Morgan Wallen, Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene |
| AfroBank FM | Amapiano, 3-step, African classics | Burna and Palmsy | Burna Boy and Palms Trax |
| The Chamber 106.6 | Heavy metal | DJ Kerry and DJ Tom | Kerry King and Tom Araya of Slayer |
| Flash FM | Pop and dance-friendly crossover music | Robyn and Alex | Robyn and Alex Consani |
| Dirty South Classics | Southern rap and hip-hop | Trick and Trina | Trick Daddy and Trina |
The real-world performer identifications were reported by Pitchfork; Rockstar uses the on-air presenter names in its station descriptions.
Cocoteo FM — modern Latin music
Hosts: El Martillo (Bad Bunny) and La Gata (RaiNao).
Cocoteo FM brings several Latin genres together rather than treating them as one sound. The sampler moves from Bad Bunny's modern reggaeton-rooted music to a remix built for dancing and a Romeo Santos bachata collaboration. That mix matters: someone searching for a Bad Bunny song may arrive at the same station as someone who prefers guitar-led romantic bachata, even though the songs have different rhythms and moods.
It's a good first stop for players who want a lively station with changes of pace, not an uninterrupted playlist of one type of beat.
In Rockstar's preview: "EoO" — Bad Bunny; "Si Es Trucho Es Trucho (Remix)" — Axel Rulay featuring Farruko and El Alfa; "Canalla" — Romeo Santos and El Chaval de la Bachata.
Back Country Radio — country with a strong local personality
Hosts: MW (Morgan Wallen) and Delta Dawne (Lana Del Rey), joined by Mud Dog Mike (Jeremy Dufrene).
Back Country is more than a country playlist: Rockstar has given it the character of a local station, complete with a roving reporter, swamp-weather updates, and Mud Dog Mike broadcasting from an airboat. It references rural areas such as the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn, tying the broadcast's identity to Leonida beyond Vice City's streets.
Its preview leans toward established country names: David Allan Coe, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings. If you like older country storytelling more than glossy modern pop-country production, start here. The host lineup includes a contemporary country star, but a station host appearing on the radio does not automatically mean their own songs are on that station's playlist.
In Rockstar's preview: "Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behavior" — David Allan Coe; "Don't Come Home A-Drinkin' (With Lovin' on Your Mind)" — Loretta Lynn; "The Conversation" — Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings.
AfroBank FM — African classics meet contemporary club music
Hosts: Burna (Burna Boy) and Palmsy (Palms Trax).
AfroBank FM may offer the biggest musical contrast within a single preview. Asake represents a newer generation of Nigerian popular music, while Pat Thomas and Ebo Taylor connect the station to older Ghanaian recordings. DJ Lag, Robot Boii and Kamo Mphela bring South African dance music into the mix.
That gives listeners a useful way into the station: AfroBank is not simply a chart-oriented Afrobeats channel. Its sampler stretches across countries, decades and dance styles, so it's worth hearing all three excerpts before deciding whether it's for you.
In Rockstar's preview: "Joha" — Asake; "Gye Wani" — Pat Thomas featuring Ebo Taylor; "Shay'sana" — DJ Lag and Robot Boii featuring Kamo Mphela.
The Chamber 106.6 — metal across generations
Hosts: DJ Kerry (Kerry King) and DJ Tom (Tom Araya), both members of Slayer.
The Chamber's first three selected songs show how the station approaches metal: Black Sabbath's "I", Pantera's "I'm Broken", and Slayer's "Raining Blood". It isn't limited to a single era or a single subgenre. There's an obvious connection between the hosts and the music, because one of the previewed tracks comes from their own band.
For listeners deciding between stations by energy alone, The Chamber is the aggressive, riff-heavy option. Unlike the returning Flash FM, this is also a chance to hear the series establish a distinct metal identity for the new Leonida setting.
In Rockstar's preview: "I" — Black Sabbath; "I'm Broken" — Pantera; "Raining Blood" — Slayer.
Flash FM — the return of a Vice City name
Hosts: Robyn and Alex (Alex Consani).
Flash FM has a special history. The station appeared in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Vice City Stories, where its identity was closely tied to 1980s pop, synth-pop and new wave. The GTA VI sample instead moves through Charli XCX, MGMT and Zara Larsson with PinkPantheress.
That is a meaningful creative change: Rockstar is preserving a recognizable Vice City radio brand while updating the records that define it. The familiar name is the nostalgic element; the preview's songs belong to a much newer pop landscape.
It's the best station to check first if you want to hear how the revived Vice City draws on the older game's atmosphere without simply recycling the old soundtrack. For the earlier station's history, see Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto Radio retrospective.
In Rockstar's preview: "Good Ones" — Charli XCX; "Electric Feel" — MGMT; "Midnight Sun (Girls Trip)" — Zara Larsson and PinkPantheress.
Dirty South Classics — Southern hip-hop roots
Hosts: Trick (Trick Daddy) and Trina.
Rockstar could have filled a rap station with current hits alone. Instead, the preview emphasizes Southern regional history, with David Banner, JT Money and DJ Khaled records involving artists with strong South Florida or wider Southern rap connections.
The hosts make sense for this particular station: Trick Daddy and Trina are closely associated with Miami hip-hop. That creates a geographical connection between the music and GTA VI's fictional Vice City, not just a celebrity-name attraction.
In Rockstar's preview: "Like a Pimp" — David Banner featuring Lil' Flip; "Who Dat" — JT Money featuring Solé; "Born-N-Raised" — DJ Khaled featuring Trick Daddy, Rick Ross and Pitbull.

GTA 6 radio vs. The Album vs. the score: three different music sources
This distinction is important if you've seen a track described online as a "GTA 6 song." There are different ways a song can be associated with the game. The October 15 Justice announcement makes it especially important not to mix them together:
| Music source | What it represents | What you can use it to identify |
|---|---|---|
| In-game radio preview | A snippet played as part of a named radio station | A song associated with that specific station's preview |
| Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album | A separate release of 34 original tracks, available November 19 | Music from the album — not necessarily a station assignment |
| Trailer or promotional video | Music chosen for Rockstar's marketing material | A trailer's music, not by itself a radio-station credit |
| Original score (Justice) | Music composed for the game itself, rather than a station's licensed-music playlist | Who composes the underlying score; it does not identify a radio-station playlist |
For example, Travis Scott’s “RHYNO” is an available GTA VI album single, but the six radio previews do not assign it to a particular station. Listing it under Dirty South Classics solely because it is hip-hop would mislead readers. The same applies to Justice’s “Flower in a Hurricane”: being used in the launch trailer and listed on The Album does not establish that Flash FM, or any other station, plays it.
Quick listening reference: Want songs with DJ introductions? Use the six radio samplers. Want standalone full tracks, including the Justice song? Use The Album singles section. Want to know who is composing original in-game music? See the Justice score announcement. Those answer three different questions.
All nine GTA VI album singles available now
Rockstar’s GTA VI Music page currently features nine playable singles from the announced 34-track release. “Flower in a Hurricane” was added on October 15 alongside the launch trailer:
| Song | Performer(s) |
|---|---|
| That's It (feat. Future & Metro Boomin) | Yung Lean |
| RHYNO | Travis Scott |
| Sexy Magic | CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy |
| Flower in a Hurricane (feat. Tame Impala, SZA, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard) | Justice |
| Last Thing You Need | Morgan Wallen |
| Suzuki | Fuerza Regida |
| Macacoa 2000 | Rauw Alejandro |
| Don't Chart | Cardi B |
| Bright Lights, Big City | Keith Richards |
The album is scheduled to arrive November 19, 2026, with digital and physical formats advertised. You can play the available tracks from Rockstar’s GTA VI Music page. Rockstar describes the album as a 34-track release; nine singles does not mean the complete 34-track list has been published.
Where does Justice’s score fit?
Justice’s original score and the station playlists perform different jobs. A station has named presenters and selected songs that you hear as radio programming. An original score is music created to support the game itself. The Album, meanwhile, is a standalone release with tracks you can listen to independently.
The crossover is “Flower in a Hurricane”: it is a single by the score composers, a track on The Album, and the song used in the launch trailer. Those facts still do not make it a named radio-station track. Rockstar says more information about the score album is coming; this guide will distinguish that release from The Album when a track listing is published.
Radio in your car, on foot, and through your phone
GTA's radio has traditionally been closely associated with vehicles: get into a car, choose a station, and the drive acquires a soundtrack. GTA VI expands that idea by allowing music and podcasts while walking, using headphones or earbuds connected to Jason or Lucia's smartphone.
That may matter more in ordinary exploration than another station name. Walking through Vice City, moving between shops, or exploring Leonida on foot no longer has to mean leaving the radio behind. It's a change to where you can listen, not merely what you can listen to.
Rockstar has also announced on-demand in-game podcasts. That's distinct from a traditional talk-radio station, which broadcasts a programmed sequence of conversations, advertisements and other segments. An on-demand format lets a listener choose a show rather than waiting for it to come around on the station dial.
The announcement doesn't yet supply show names, episode titles or a podcast catalogue, so there's no responsible "all podcasts" episode list to publish at this stage. What readers can look forward to is the addition of a listening format beyond conventional terrestrial radio.
What the previews tell us about Rockstar's music direction
Listening across the six stations reveals a few patterns worth noticing:
- Older music isn't confined to a nostalgia station. Back Country Radio moves through country classics; The Chamber draws from several decades of metal; AfroBank puts older African records beside newer dance styles.
- Leonida is represented through different musical communities. Cocoteo's Latin focus and Dirty South Classics' regional hip-hop are particularly relevant to a game centered on Vice City and its wider state.
- Flash FM connects old Vice City with new Vice City. Its name returns, but its previewed songs do not attempt to recreate a 1980s-only playlist.
- The presentation matters as much as the tracks. Fictional host personas, station branding and Back Country's local reporting show that Rockstar is designing stations as pieces of Leonida's culture, not just anonymous playlists.
These are observations about the material Rockstar has released, rather than predictions about unrevealed stations or how many songs the finished game will contain.
GTA 6 radio FAQ
How many radio stations are in GTA 6?
Rockstar has previewed six named stations: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM, and Dirty South Classics. Its description of the wider radio offering includes additional formats such as classic rock and talk radio, so the six previewed names should not be treated as a complete station count.
Is Flash FM returning to GTA 6?
Yes. Flash FM, previously heard in GTA: Vice City and Vice City Stories, is back. Robyn and Alex Consani present its new pop-focused version.
Is Bad Bunny a GTA 6 radio host?
Yes. Bad Bunny voices El Martillo, a presenter on Cocoteo FM alongside La Gata, voiced by RaiNao.
Can you listen to the radio while walking?
Yes. Rockstar has introduced on-foot listening with headphones or earbuds connected to the protagonists' smartphones, in addition to listening in vehicles.
Does GTA 6 have podcasts?
Yes. It includes on-demand podcasts as another listening option alongside radio. Rockstar has not yet published individual episode titles or a show directory.
Who composed the GTA 6 original score?
Justice, the French electronic duo, composed the original score. Rockstar revealed this in its October 15, 2026 launch-trailer announcement.
What song plays in the GTA 6 launch trailer?
“Flower in a Hurricane” — Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It is also included among the nine currently playable singles on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.
Is “Flower in a Hurricane” on a GTA 6 radio station?
It does not appear among the 18 tracks identified in Rockstar’s six radio previews. Its documented placements are the October 15 launch trailer and GTA VI: The Album; no specific radio station is identified for it there.
Are the songs from GTA VI: The Album assigned to radio stations?
Not automatically. The radio samplers and the separate 34-track album are different sources. A song appearing on the album doesn't tell us which in-game station, if any, plays it.
Where can I listen to the GTA 6 radio previews?
All six are available on Rockstar's official GTA VI Music page. The same page has playable album singles.
